
It was the hollow sound of an old Gibson Songbird, borrowed from a close family member that stole Brian Dean Moore's heart and altered his life at the age of 12. Early on his influences included a variety of artists from Ray Charles and other Motown greats to, Van Halen, Stray Cats, Led Zeppelin, Buddy Guy, George Jones, Johnny Cash and many more.
Brian began performing live at the age of 16 in a popular rock cover band in the NJ/PA club circuit before leaving his hometown of Belvidere, NJ in 1992 to promote his music on what began a two year tour of the Southern and Midwestern United States. After signing with Leeds-Davis Management, who has notably represented rock and pop acts such as Blondie and Roberta Flack, he finally settled in Nashville in 1994, soon thereafter recieving the attention of some of the industries top professionals and record labels.
During his stay in The Music City, Brian has had the pleasure of working with some of the industries greats including Grammy nominated Writer/Producer Michael Garvin(Reba Mcentire, Jennifer Lopez, Diamond Rio); Writer/Producer Kevin Savigar, who penned hits such as "Forever Young" and "Young Turks" by Rod Stewart; Producer Ralph Murphy (April Wine, President of ASCAP). He has performed at renowned music venues such as B.B. Kings, The French Quarter, 12th & Porter, The Bluebird Cafe, The Sun Records Club and has opened for national acts such as Tommy Tutone, Toto and more.
In May 2010, Brian embarked on a 4 day road trip to perform 4 shows in NJ and PA, and subsequently decided after 2 decades it was time to come home. He has performed over 400 shows in DE, MD, NY, PA since.
Brian continues to write, record and perform full time. He is currently in the studio recording his 2nd full length album. Watch for a release date coming soon!
